Lullaby Baby Shower: Feature on Hostess with the Mostess

I can't think of a better way to end 2011 than with my first feature on Hostess with the Mostess. What an incredible year it's been! I feel so grateful for all of the wonderful press and overwhelming support.

Looking ahead, 2012 will kick off with the launch of a new blog design (which I'm so excited to reveal), as well as, pictures from my parents' 45th anniversary party. I'll also share my tutorial for paper globes on Bird's Party, details from Camden's 5th birthday party, and host the 4th Party Tutorial Contest to celebrate my 40th birthday (yikes!) in January. Lots of new posts lined up, so be sure to visit us again soon. Wishing you a joyous New Year!

Transformers Birthday Party: Feature on Birthday Girl

I was having such a lousy day! I couldn't sleep last night, and then first thing this morning I find out there's a mini "crisis" at work. Eleven o'clock rolls around and I get an email from Becca, the Birthday Girl herself. My Trans4mers party has been featured on her oh-so-popular party blog. With so many great inspirations and ideas, it's no surprise that Birthday Girl is on every party planner's blogroll. Thanks, Becca, you really made my day!

End of 2010

I've been planning my kids' birthday parties for years. But it wasn't until June when I decided to start this blog to share some of my ideas. I was a complete newbie to the blogging world, but I fortunate enough to come across some wonderful bloggers early on. I will always be grateful for Melanie at ewe hooo!, Kate of Kate Landers Events, and Jillian from Catch My Party for featuring my parties when I only had a handful of followers.

Recently, Kate showcased my Mad Science and Under Construction parties, along with dozens of other "extraordinary parties for children" from 2010 on her blog. And today, the Mad Science party was selected as one of Jillian's favorite parties of the year. Her site features so many amazing parties, I'm totally blown away to have even been considered. What an incredible way to end 2010!

FLIPAWOO Giveaway Winner

The winner of the FLIPAWOO giveaway is Andrea of Pocket Full of Parties. Congratulations! Enjoy shopping for your holiday cards. Andrea designs children's parties in the Tampa Bay area and is currently hosting her first giveaway. So hop over to her blog and enter for a chance to win invitations and favor tags for your New Year's Eve party.

I have more great news! My parties were featured on both Kara's Party Ideas and Tip Junkie Parties today. What an incredible honor! Thanks, ladies.

Feature on Ucreate

I can't thank Kari enough for featuring my pink owl costume tutorial on Ucreate today. Her blog is full of great sewing, crafting, and decorating projects. She also writes about the latest crafting trends, interviews designers, and every month she invites crafters to "Create With Me". It's no wonder that she has such a HUGE following. I could spend hours and hours on her blog!

Feature on Sugar Bee - Craft Edition

I was elated when Mandy selected my pink owl costume tutorial to be featured on Take-A-Look Tuesday at Sugar Bee - Craft Edition. How cool is that? This was the first tutorial that I had ever linked up and to be chosen out of hundreds of entries, that really made my day.

I must have been living under a rock all these years, but I just recently discovered crafting link parties. It's a great way to show off your DIY projects. Starting tomorrow, you'll be able to link up anything relating to children's parties here on my blog. I can't wait to get this {link} party started!

Feature on Creative Party Place

Shannon, a party planner/blog designer/cake decorator/wedding coordinator, recently featured my "Mad Science" party on Creative Party Place. How cool is that? This is another great site for party planners to share their new and creative ideas, and inspire others.

Party of the Day on Catch My Party

A big thank you to Jillian Tohber Leslie for showcasing my "Mad Science" party on Catch My Party, a free online party scrapbook.

Mad Science Party of the Day on Catch My Party

Be sure to look for my "Under Construction" party and toolbelt tutorial on her site in the upcoming weeks.

Features on Stylish Children's Parties

I was completely flattered when Kate Landers asked to feature both my "Mad Science" and "Under Construction" birthday parties on her blog, Stylish Children's Parties. Her parties are absolutely spectacular and are featured in all of the popular party blogs. I just love her sense of style and attention to details.
