DC Avon Walk for Breast Cancer 2012
Chances are, you or someone close to you has been affected by breast cancer. "In it to end it", the Pink Princesses participated in the 10th Avon Walk for Breast Cancer at the nation's capital over the weekend. For 2 days and 39.3 miles, I felt so proud to be walking with an amazing group of women (some of whom I had met for the first time on event eve) for such a worthy cause. As a team, we raised over $26,000 to support breast cancer research, education and prevention efforts throughout the region. A huge thank you to our families and friends, and the fabulous crew members who cheered us on every step of the way. We couldn't have done it without YOU!
