LEGO Star Wars Birthday Party

My nephew, Parker, celebrated his 7th birthday this afternoon with a LEGO Star Wars theme party. Since the party was held at a laser tag arena, my sister just needed ideas for displaying the cookie pop favors and cupcakes. Using LEGOS was the first thing that came into mind.

For the cookie pop stand, I took a thick piece of styro foam, glued it onto a cardboard base, then built a wall of multi-colored bricks around all sides. After tying the bunting around 2 wooden skewers, and attaching some LEGO Star Wars figures, it became the perfect display for the Star Wars cookie pops from Sugar Cookie Creations.

I have to applaud the birthday boy for making the cupcake stand out completely of LEGOS -- so fun and creative. The cupcake toppers from Party On Boutique were a big hit too. Happy Birthday, Parker!
