When I was looking for a stylish new logo, I turned to Derek Tan, the brilliant illustrator and web designer who re-designed this blog almost a year ago. New Blog Name

Following Phubie started out as a blog where you could get a glimpse into my life as full-time working mom, part-time party planner, and wanna-be entrepreneur. Since then, it's evolved into a blog about children's parties, so I thought it deserved a name that was more fitting. Following Phubie is now Pure Joy Events.

When I started my blog in June, I never dreamed that I would be starting my own children's party planning business just 4 months later. I'm proud to officially announce the launch of Pure Joy Events. The company is named after my daughter, whose name means "Pure Joy", and specializes in creating unique and unforgettable children's birthday parties in the Washington DC area.
