Blue Lotus Company

Twin sisters, Darin and Riya Ruchirek, are the creative brains behind the Blue Lotus Company, a design boutique specializing in producing "distinct, classy and modern" wedding invitations. When Riya tied the knot last Saturday at the National Museum of Women in the Arts, attention was given to the tiniest of details.

For starters, the invitation was a beautiful 4-page booklet with details about the ceremony, reception and hotel accommodations.

Instead of the typical boring program, there was a mini-newspaper featuring the couple's love story on the front page, profiles of the wedding party, an article about their travels, and even a "how well do you know Sang and Riya" crossword puzzle. So clever!

The table card was tucked inside a little booklet that held a collection of thank you cards. At the center of each place setting, there was a box of chocolates on top of a square card which read, "Chocolate in any language spells love". On the back of the card was the dinner menu.
