Like most little boys, Camden loves playing with all kinds of construction trucks -- dump trucks, loaders, bulldozers, you name it. So when it came time to plan for his third birthday party, doing a construction theme was a no-brainer.
I just love these cute bulldozer invitations from polka dot design.
My husband finally put his Mechanical Engineering degree to good use and built this one of a kind bulldozer around the kangaroo climber. The arm actually lifted, the headlights went on and off, and the steering wheel turned. It was a HUGE hit at the party.
Each crew member received a personalized yellow hard hat and a handmade tool belt stocked with tools when they reported for duty.
Different construction zones were set up throughout the work site.
Balloon twister, Katie Laibstain, blew us away with her "airmazing" balloon sculptures.
A plain vanilla and chocolate cake from Amphora Bakery was decorated with Oreo dirt, wooden construction trucks, and a mini-Camy fondant figure that was sculpted by our friend, Loan.
Chocolate vegan cupcakes with vanilla cream were ordered from Happy Eatery in Centreville. You'll be surprised how moist and tasty they really are!
And there were loads of food for the entire crew.
